General Discussion » Need help identifying headers PLEASE!!!!! » 12/31/2017 8:09 pm

I have a real nice chromed set of headers for a 440. I was going to use them for my 1970 Cuda but they don't fit. What I mean is they bolt up to the heads nicely but for example  the passenger header output is too high. In fact it lines up perfectly centered to the passenger long torsion bar. I mean smack dab in the middle of it. Header needs to be about 2-3 inches lower.  Can someone tell me what model of cars my headers fit (not E body like my Cuds) so I can sell them and buy the right set????? Do these fit a B body or what?  Bought them at a swap meet and don't know what vehicle they came off of.

Parts For Sale » E Body Parts off my 70 Cuda » 8/05/2014 8:58 pm

Restoring my 70 Cuda. Have parts for sale. See below. If interested, will need to come get them in NW Ft Worth near Saginaw, Tx. Thanks! .....Offers accepted but will ignore low ball offers.

Just pulled a used black set of 440 headers off. I am going ceramic..

Also have original 440 motor heads (903s) for sale. Nothing wrong with them. I bought aluminum heads to replace.

May be selling my Go Wing as well. Thinking of going AAR low profile spoiler instead.

Just got my 440 back from the machine shop. Prepping and painting engine bay. Had a concern. Is there any way to tell the stall on my existing converter? 727 auto. Would hate to install new motor and the stall be too high etc...

General Discussion » AAR Hood: Bolt On vs Lift Off ? » 5/24/2014 12:42 pm

I am retoring my 70 Cuda 440. Previous owner did it as AAR clone with black fiberglass hood. I believe the hood is a bolt on since it bolts on to the hinges. It has pins on the front. Seems like a no brainer but I want to be sure. I am guessing the lift off hoods are strictly that.....lift off......no hinges.....maybe pins in all 4 corners?  I am asking because I was trying to figure the value of my hood. I found a couple bolt ons that were $700-900 whereas the lift off are more like $300. So..do I have a true bolt on worth $700-900? It is in excellent condition.

General Discussion » 70 Cuda Firewall Question » 5/22/2014 9:16 pm

Restoring my 70 Cuda 440. Thinking of fiberglassing the firewall to look smoother and paint same color as exterior. Did this on my 69 Camaro and looks great. Never done it to a mopar. Anyone done this and/or have pics?
