2007 Dakota

To get this section going, here is my first ride, the daily driver:

2007 Dakota QC:
4.7L/545RFE Automatic
3.55 gears
OEM 18" Aluminum wheels
Home built Cold Air Intake
True Dual exhaust w/Magnaflow mufflers
Amsoil Dual Remote bypass filter kit
All Amsoil Synthetic fluids
Superchips Flashpaq on 93 octane
RamMat BXT sound mat on interior
Custom painted center stack
Custom gauge pod with Autometer volt and oil pressure
In-dash MP3 6-disc changer (from a 300C)
Bed liner by fellow club members Mike and Kathryn Minchew of Tuff Customs

The performance modifications netted a 34hp and 41ft-lb increase. Most of the increases came from the bolt on mods, but the Superchips did wonders for the response of the transmission and throttle. Even under normal acceleration it holds gears longer and shifts faster. I typically get 20mpg city/hwy combined, but on road trips I have gotten as much as 25mpg depending on the terrain.

Though I travel through the valley of rice, I fear no evil, for torque is with me.

Re: 2007 Dakota

Very nice truck. Needs some nice looking wheels to set it off some. I wish I could find an R/T Dakota
